Creating a showcase ‘sustainability precinct’ – reflecting a collaborative effort among operators of restaurants, cafés and other shops in a City Centre / Darby Street precinct in Newcastle Australia – will attract customers and urban eco-tourists, reduce businesses’ operating costs, lower their environmental impacts, attract much needed staff, and demonstrate our City’s leadership in fostering sustainability.
